This divine journey began back in August 2018, where I put a search out to my viewers for a special soul to collaborate with as my model. And what an expansive journey it then became! Meet Ana. The stunning Analia Celeste Muniz, yoga teacher and dancer from Argentina. Her photograph blew me away the moment I laid eyes on it, instantly knowing that this was the perfect match for my artistic vision. Her photos were taken in Bangkok, Thailand, by her Russian photographer Dasha Cherniavskaia. And then my Misprint artwork, created here, in Australia. What a wonderful global collaboration it became 🙂
So after twelve months of an incredibly challenging and spiritually awakening journey into motherhood, I finally found the time in 2020 to finish this beautiful piece I began back in 2018. It’s turned into quite a personal piece for me, touching me very deeply emotionally and spiritually.
‘Soul Awakening’ is her divine journey from her cocoon, her awakening, the hardships endured whilst walking towards her darkness, to finally emerge as a free spirited butterfly. All connected and guided by our beautiful Mother Earth, grounded by the energy flowing through her, in and out, in every direction. February 13th, 2020.
